DJ Bobby Picone moved from New Jersey to Bonita Springs in late 2018. He has been a DJ since the 1970s, and plays a mixture of contemporary, classic, and oldies music. Bobby is also a dancer, which expands his understanding of what GBBC dancers want to keep us on the floor. Bobby has previously worked with the World Yacht Cruise Line and a number of community events. Bobby typically plays a California Mix of swing, hustle, country, and night club 2 step.
DJ Bernie spun magic with his music at our very first GBBC dance. Bernie plays music that people want to hear. Being in love with music, Bernie started DJing in 2009 to promote the local dance community in Ohio. As a dancer himself, it became a hobby to put different types of music to the dances.
Bernie started DJing at local dances for ballroom, swing, and country while doing private events and private parties. He has hosted his own weekly dance for 6 years. After retiring from 30 years in his own automotive service business, he is currently living in Ft. Myers and loving life. His music makes your feet tap and head nod regardless of the genre or tempo. Don't be surprised when you feel the need to be dancing.
